5 Steps to Getting Started with SCRAM Monitoring

New to alcohol and location monitoring with SCRAM Systems?
Here is some information to help you get started on your monitoring program:

STEP 1

Find a SCRAM Systems Authorised Service Provider

The installation and management of your SCRAM Systems monitoring may occasionally be handled by a court or agency’s own staff. However, they frequently will recommend you to an independent business known as a Service Provider who will install, operate, and give the referring agency reports on your monitoring.

Scram Systems of Australia has a national network of providers to assist all Scram customers.

You can either use our Find a SCRAM Location search tool to find providers in your region, or the court or your legal contact may supply you with the details for our specific Service Provider in your neighbourhood.

STEP 2

Schedule Your Installation/Set-Up Appointment

Call the relevant SCRAM Systems Authorized Service Provider as soon as you are sentenced and referred for monitoring. Make sure to enquire about any possible technological requirements for the SCRAM Systems product you have been instructed to use before you schedule your appointment (i.e., home phone line, internet service, electricity, etc.).

STEP 3

Review Frequently Asked Questions

Check our Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about the monitoring system you will use. These materials will answer your questions and assist you in preparing any questions you may have for your installation appointment.

STEP 4

Your Installation Appointment

Please allow at least 30 to 45 minutes for your installation and/or set-up. Bring photo identification, copies of any court or agency documents, and anything else you may have been instructed to bring while making your appointment.

STEP 5

Sign the Participant Agreement

The Participant Agreement will need to be signed in order for you to participate. Please make sure you read the full agreement and ask any questions you may have.

Depending on the programme you’re using, your service provider agent may also ask you to watch a Participant Agreement Video when completing the Participant Agreement with you.
